Basketball
The Basketball program provides youth in grades Pre-K to 8th the opportunity to learn the sport of basketball. PreK-2nd grade participants will be taught fundamentals of the game through skills sessions composed of fun drills and brief scrimmages. 3rd-8th grade participants participate in the Southeast NH Recreational Travel Basketball League, where teams will practice and play games against opponents in the league. Emphasis is placed upon recreation philosophies including teamwork and sportsmanship at all levels.
Shooting Stars: PreK Basketball program that is offered on Friday mornings from 9:00am-9:45am. Players must be 4 years old by the start of the program.
Small Shots: 5 year old program for children in the Kindergarten age group.
Grades 1-2 Session A: Earlier option for the 1st & 2nd grade Saturday morning program; will run from 9:45am-10:45am.
Grades 1-2 Session B: Later option for the 1st & 2nd grade Saturday morning program; will run from 11:00am-12:00pm.
Grades 3-8: Girls and Boys travel rec basketball! 7 weeks of games ending with a jamboree to send off the season. Practices are once a week on weeknights with games on Saturdays. Please note practice schedules will be available once registration closes and coaches are finalized.
Drop-In Basketball: Early Spring option for more basketball. Each Saturday, you can choose if you'd like to join us at the Rec Department for some added drills & games. Offered in two separate sessions; one age group will consist of 3rd & 4th graders and the other will be 5th-8th graders. Pay ahead of time to secure a spot. Drop-In payments are card only. 20 maximum participants per age group allowed!
