Transportation:
For some trips, we will provide transportation in our 15-passenger van, affectionately named "Rec it Ralph." However, please note that transportation is not always included, so be sure to check the details for each specific trip!

  • Weds, May 20, 2026 - Wenham Tea House*
    Enjoy a classic afternoon at the Wenham Tea House, believed to be the oldest continually operating tea house in the United States. Established in the early 1900s by the Wenham Village Improvement Society, it was created as a welcoming community gathering place and has remained a beloved local tradition ever since. Participants will savor a multi-course afternoon tea, including both savory bites and sweet treats, all served in this charming historic setting. It’s a relaxed, timeless outing rooted in history, conversation, and delicious food. (Food/beverage included in registration).

  • Tues, June 2, 2026 - Pickity Place*
    Savor a five-course herbal lunch at Pickity Place, where each dish features fresh herbs and edible flowers from their own culinary garden. This storybook cottage in southern New Hampshire inspired the illustrations of Little Red Riding Hood in the 1948 Little Golden Book. After lunch, enjoy time to explore the charming grounds, gardens, and gift shop, soaking in the magical atmosphere of this historic property. (Lunch is included in registration).

  • Thu, June 18, 2026 - New England Botanical Garden*
    Discover the natural beauty of the New England Botanical Garden, one of the country’s largest and most diverse botanical gardens, featuring thousands of plants, specialty collections, and themed landscapes perfect for all seasons. Enjoy a peaceful day outdoors exploring ornamental gardens, unique plantings, and winding pathways surrounded by vibrant foliage and seasonal blooms. There’s an on-site cafe where you can purchase food, or you’re welcome to bring your own lunch to enjoy in the gardens. This trip is a wonderful chance to connect with nature, learn about plant diversity, and share the experience with fellow participants in a beautiful and relaxing setting.

  • Thu, July 9, 2026 - Fuller Garden & Early Dinner at The Old Salt*
    Enjoy a peaceful day by the ocean with a visit to Fuller Gardens. Take a gentle stroll through beautifully maintained gardens, then unwind over a delicious three-course early dinner at Old Salt Restaurant at Lamie's Inn. A perfect blend of nature, good food, and great company.

  • Thu, July 16, 2026 - Day Trip to Freeport, Maine**
    Spend the day exploring Freeport at your own pace. Shop, grab lunch, or simply enjoy walking around this charming destination, including a stop at the iconic L.L.Bean Flagship Store. A relaxed and flexible outing with something for everyone. Please note: This trip provides transportation only. Participants are responsible for bringing their own packed lunch/snacks or purchasing food at our destination

  • Fri, August 21, 2026 - Clam Bake on Cabbage Island, Boothbay, Maine*
    Hop in the air conditioned van for an unforgettable and traditional clam bake experience! Your journey to Cabbage Island begins in picturesque Boothbay Harbor. Here, you will board the Bennie Alice and enjoy a narrated scenic cruise while you take in Maine's breathtaking coastline. 
    Cabbage Island guests are treated to a traditional Downeast clambake including fish chowder, two lobsters, clams, golden corn on the cob, potato, onion, a hard steamed egg and Maine's finest blueberry cake. (Chicken available by prior request). Cabbage Island has been the home of traditional clambakes since 1956, cooking in traditional fashion - steamed over open fires between thick layers of seaweed and covered with tarpaulins to seal in all the great flavor and natural sweetness. With indoor and outdoor dining options, you will have ample choices on where to sit. Held rain or shine, be prepared to bring layers and rain gear.

  • Thu, September 10, 2026 - Tarbin Gardens Day Trip
    Escape into the quiet beauty of Tarbin Gardens for a relaxing day surrounded by nature. Stroll the gardens at an easy pace and enjoy a bring-your-own picnic lunch in a peaceful setting. Optional to participate in a guided meditation in the gardens.
