Fall Fest
Celebrate the best of the season with Barrington’s Fall Fest: a family friendly autumn celebration packed with food, fun, and activities for all ages! Stroll through an outdoor market featuring local vendors, grab something tasty from food trucks, and enjoy games and seasonal fun. Fall Fest is a free community event, and registration is not required for general attendance!
Little ghouls and goblins will love Trunk-or-Treat, where decorated cars hand out candy in a safe and spooky-sweet setting. Come together with neighbors and friends for a day of community, fall festivities, and family fun!
Looking to get involved? We are looking for vendors and trunk hosts!
Calling All Car Owners:
Help make Barrington Parks & Recreation’s Fall Fest extra special by hosting a decorated trunk at our Trunk-or-Treat event on Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 2:00–4:00 PM!
We are looking for community members, families, organizations, and businesses to decorate their vehicles and hand out candy to children throughout the event. This is a great opportunity to get creative, connect with the community, and help create a fun and memorable Fall Fest experience for local families.
All Trunk-or-Treat hosts must register in advance. Only properly registered vehicles will be permitted to participate.
Vendor Market:
Applications to participate in our vendor market will be open Wednesday, August 19 - Monday, October 19. The Vendor Market will be open for the duration of Fall Fest.
Vendors are expected to remain set up and open for the duration of the event. Vendor applications will be reviewed and approved on a first-come, first-served basis. To promote a diverse marketplace, no more than three (3) vendors will be accepted within the same product or service category.
This year we are expanding our market to encourage young creatives to follow their passions! The Young Vendor Market is open to youth vendors 12–17 years of age.
The Young Vendor Market is designed to encourage youth entrepreneurship by providing an opportunity for participants to showcase and sell handmade items, artwork, crafts, or other age-appropriate products. The sale of food, beverages, or other consumable items is not permitted in the Young Vendor Market.
Young vendors are expected to remain set up and open for the duration of the event. Applications will be reviewed and approved on a first-come, first-served basis. Space is limited.
