Barrington Parks & Recreation is happy to announce another summer of fun for children entering 1st through 6th grade in the fall of 2026. With an exciting T.E.A.M. CIT program for kids entering grades 7th grade and up, under 14 years old. Your child will love our daily program filled with activities ranging from sports, games, and water play, to arts and crafts. *At this time Summer Camp is FULL. Below there is a wait list you can add your child to.*The Summer Day Program will run from June 22-August 14, 2026.   The program will operate 5 days a week, except for the week of July 4th. There will be NO PROGRAM on Friday, July 3rd in observance of July 4th.  RESIDENTS: $1,500.00/childNON-RESIDENTS: $1,750.00/child*At the time of registration, only a $100 non-refundable deposit is due per child. Below there is a wait list you can add your child to.*The Summer Day Program will run from June 22-August 14, 2026.   The program will operate 5 days a week, except for the week of July 4th. There will be NO PROGRAM on Friday, July 3rd in observance of July 4th.  RESIDENTS: $1,500.00/childNON-RESIDENTS: $1,750.00/child*At the time of registration, only a $100 non-refundable deposit is due per child. Participants will have the opportunity to play in the water, supervised by Red Cross Certified Lifeguards. These trips will be included in the cost of the summer program.Free Lunch Fridays: This year we will be including lunch each Friday of the program- a pizza lunch, accompanied by snacks and juice. Campers will still need AM/PM snacks and water on Fridays, but we've got lunch covered!There will be weekly field trips starting week 2 of camp. Field trips are an additional cost and have limited registration spaces available. Field trip information will be announced in May. (must be registered for typical camp day to enroll)T.E.A.M. CIT Program:  T.E.A.M. CIT is our Counselor in Training program, designed for youth entering 7th, 8th, or 9th grade (under age 14) who are ready to take on new responsibilities and begin developing leadership skills in a supportive camp environment. The purpose of the program is to help young teens build confidence, learn how to work with younger campers, and gain hands-on experience in communication, teamwork, and basic counselor responsibilities. The T.E.A.M. CIT program is a competitive, application-based program. To apply, pre-teens must submit a completed CIT application between December 22, 2025 - January 25, 2026, and must complete a formal interview. Once the application is received the child with be contacted to schedule an interview at our office. The selection process will take place once all interviews are completed. *Due to a high interest in the program, no applications will be accepted after January 25th.*Session 1: June 22 - July 17Session 2: July 20 - August 14Half Session: $500.00/CITFull Session: $850.00/CIT (returners only)
